Colegio de la Inmaculada Concepcion - Cebu has once again taken the opportunity to maintain the cleanliness of the school vicinity in fulfillment of one of its mission: caring for God’s creation through the LIMPYO Cebu program. On the 19th of August, 2017, the Grade 8 students and the Green Team, spearheaded the activity, assisted by the chosen CAT officers and volunteer LaMPs, CIC-Cebu has started its cleaning advocacy from DOLE all the way to Ayala Access Road.

The students, including their class advisers unceasingly cleaned their assigned areas without failing to segregate biodegradable and non-biodegradable materials. The CAT officers took charge in the strict implementation of the proper segregation of trash. The activity served as a training ground to actively take part in sustaining the green practices of the school and the community; hence, this can ignite everyone to become aware of the responsibilities in protecting the environment.
